Westport, CT -- On April 29th, from 11AM-2PM, Earthplace Nature Discovery Center, at 10 Woodside Lane, Westport, presents its annual Green Day celebration.
Explore a series of science- and nature-themed stations throughout the sanctuary. There will be stations dedicated to amphibians, insects, reptiles, mammals and birds, exhibiting wild and preserved specimens. At the Center's seed station, visitors will dissect seeds to learn how they grow. And, at the science station, the group will make and launch our own Alka Seltzer rockets. Every station will have themed activities or crafts to bring each topic to life. $5 per person.
