RIDGEFIELD, CT - Looking Glass Animal Rescue has been selected for the 2017 Best of Ridgefield Award in the Non-Profit Organization category by the Ridgefield Award Program. Since being established in December 2015, the 501c3 nonprofit volunteer-based animal welfare organization has lived by its mission to “save the sick, injured, neglected and abandoned” by saving approximately 250 dogs from euthanasia and placing them into loving homes in the region.

Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Ridgefield Award Program and data provided by third parties.
About Looking Glass Animal Rescue
Looking Glass Animal Rescue is a nonprofit volunteer-based animal welfare organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from high-kill shelters, hoarding situations, puppy mills, animal fighting rings and more. While they welcome all animals in need, they specifically focus on animals that are often overlooked due to age, breed, special need or an illness or injury requiring immediate, often costly medical attention that shelters are unable to provide. Without a rescue outlet, these animals would otherwise be euthanized due to their issues.
