Beth-El Center Receives $4K From Archbishop’s Annual Appeal

Milford, CT - On Monday, September 18, the Beth-El Center homeless shelter and soup kitchen in Milford received a check in the amount of $4,350 from the Archbishop’s Annual Appeal through its Vicariate Outreach Program.

"This generous donation will assist us in our efforts to realize the goal of ending homelessness. Through the collaborative Coordinated Access Network, where better data and housing resources can be accessed, Beth-El Center has been making great strides to make any episodes of homelessness brief, rare and non-recurring," said Toni Dolan, Executive Director of the Beth-El Center. "This donation will also help us expand our food programs to offer additional evening meals to respond to the growing need in the community."

The mission of the Beth-El Center is to alleviate hunger and homelessness in the Milford area through shelter, support services, advocacy and community education in partnership with the faith-based community and public and private organizations.
