Cornerstone Church Sets Community Thanksgiving Luncheon

NORWALK, Conn. - Cornerstone Community Church is excited to announce that it will host the 18th Annual Community Thanksgiving Luncheon. The Luncheon will be held on Sunday, November 19, from Noon to 2pm at Cornerstone Community Church (718 West Avenue, directly across the street from the main library). The Luncheon will be preceded by worship service beginning at 10am and followed by entertainment, including children's activities, throughout the day. All are welcome to share in this Thanksgiving celebration.

“Cornerstone Community Church considers it a deep honor to once again host the Norwalk community and share a spirit-filled Thanksgiving meal. A hot turkey dinner accompanied by friendly conversation, smiles, music, and working together will feed our bodies and our spirits,” says Rev. R. Randy Day, who co-pastors Cornerstone Community Church along with Rev. Ronell Howard. “This is an interfaith event at which all persons are most welcome!”

The Community Thanksgiving Luncheon is made possible through the generosity of Cornerstone Community Church, caring individuals, and other local businesses and organizations. At this time, they are looking for volunteers for the following dates and times:

  • Sat, Nov 18, 10a to 12p: Volunteers to set up, decorate, and prepare food
  • Sun, Nov 19, 11a to 4p: Volunteers to serve, greet and direct guests, and break down the event
