Southport, CT – Over 175 art lovers and Pequot Library supporters flocked to Pequot’s Preview Party Fundraiser on Saturday, October 14, 2017. Fine art was on display in several mediums, custom cocktails were poured and gourmet nibbles were enjoyed by all. The winners of this year’s art show, “The Story of Art,” were selected by the 20th Annual Art Show jurors, Adrienne Conzelman and Helen Klisser During.
Congratulations to the Best in Show winners:
1st Place: Involuntary Paintings (Series) by Árpád Krizsán, photography
2nd Place: N41º08.899’ W073º29.609’ 10/31/15 102 ft. (Pinwheels with House), 2016 by Torrance York, photography;
3rd Place: Tangerine, Peel and Bowl by Jarvis Wilcox, oil on linen.
