Fairfield Ludlowe High School Teacher Arrested for Sexual Assault on an Underage Female Student

The following report was issued by the Communications Officer at Fairfield Police Department...

On September 18, 2013, Fairfield Police detectives received information that there may be an inappropriate relationship between a teacher and student at Fairfield Ludlowe High School, located at 785 Unquowa Road, Fairfield, CT.

Through the course of an investigation, it was revealed that FLHS teacher Glenn Mishuck, 47, of 186 Ellsworth Street Bridgeport, CT, did have a sexual relationship with a female student under the age of 18, between July and September 2013. Text messages between teacher and student corroborated the abuse. It was revealed that Mishuck had engaged in at least 17 encounters with the victim/minor.

Due to the fact that the victim is a Fairfield student and the suspect Mishuck was a Town of Fairfield employee, prosecutors directed Fairfield Detective Beth Irizarry, who is assigned to the Fairfield Police Youth Bureau, to investigate the case.

The detailed and extensive investigation including numerous interviews and collection of electronic evidence, to support that these serious crimes had in fact occurred. Detective Irizarry completed an arrest warrant application which was granted and returned to this department on Wednesday, October 30th, 2013.

On Thursday, October 31, 2013, at 8:00 am, Glenn Mishuck came to headquarters and was charged with 17 counts of Sexual Assault 2nd Degree. His court-set bond is $150,000 and court date for arraignment is November 12, 2013. Mishuck did not make bond and was transported to a Bridgeport Court the same day he was charged.
