Southport, CT – During the regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen of the Town of Fairfield on November 5, 2014, First Selectman Mike Tetreau made a recognition announcement. He proclaimed November 5th, 2014 as “Martha Lord Day in the Town of Fairfield.” Former Pequot Library Executive Director, Martha Gates Lord, EdD, thanked the Board of Selectmen and Pequot Library’s Board of Trustees. Tetreau thanked Lord for always putting the town first and Lord introduced Pequot Library’s new Executive Director, Heather-Marie Montilla, MPA.
