Sheila Marmion Thanks Fairfield Voters

The following letter was received by Fairfield HamletHub from Fairfield Selectman candidate Sheila Marmion and is reprinted here in its entirety....

To the editor:

I would like to thank the voters in Fairfield who came out to support my campaign for Selectman.  A campaign is based not only on the candidate, but also on the supporters who work together as a team.  As such, I’d like to thank those who were a part of my team, and for their belief in my ability to lead.  In particular, I’d like to thank members of the Democratic Town Committee, Mike Tetreau, Tara Cook-Littman, Cristin McCarthy Vahey, Eric Newman, Steve Sheinberg and Bill Hopf.

I am proud of our team’s combined efforts to give voice to the needs and concerns of the people in this town, and to fight for the services and values that make Fairfield a great place to live.  I am thankful for the privledge of having served on the Board of Selectman, and I wish the new Board the best of luck moving forward.
