Fairfield Selectmen Seek Candidates for H. Smith Richardson Clubhouse Building Committee

Fairfield, CT - The Fairfield Board of Selectmen (BOS) is seeking qualified Fairfield residents to serve on the H. Smith Richardson Clubhouse Building Committee.

The Committee will be charged with reviewing and recommending a schematic design and obtaining cost estimates for the renovation or replacement of the H. Smith Richardson Clubhouse, golf cart barn and other site and grounds improvements. The BOS seeks to put together a balanced team with relevant professional experience, who can assure the greatest value added to any potential project undertaken by the Town. In particular, the BOS seeks those residents with experience as architects, project managers, engineers, those in construction-related professions, as well as anyone with an interest in helping to assure the best outcome for the Town.

Selected candidates will be asked to appear before the BOS and the Representative Town Meeting (RTM) for approval. Members of a building committee can expect to serve through the closeout of the project.
