Fairfield Beach Area Neighborhood Watch Training

For residents of the Beach & Sherman School Area, there will be Neighborhood Watch training sessions offered on three upcoming Wednesdays -- July 23rd, July 30th and August 6th -- from 7:00- 8:30 pm. The location is the Fairfield Library Main Branch-Rotary Room (July23rd & Aug 6th) and the Fairfield Library Main Branch-Memorial Room (July 30th).

What are some of the benefits of starting a Watch Group?
1. Improved Communications and Partnerships with Law Enforcement
2. Reduction in Crime
3. A More Secure and Better Prepared Hometown
4. A More United Community

The Neighborhood Watch is a comprehensive crime prevention program intended to educate the community on matters of safety, emergency management and crime prevention. It prepares leaders to identify suspicious activity and vehicles, provides them with the skills and information necessary to convey specific details to the emergency communications center. This, in turn, ensures the prioritizing of calls for service and the appropriate officer response.
