Women's Healthcare in the Age of Obamacare and Hobby Lobby

The Harriet Beecher Stowe Center's Salons at Stowe will address the issue Women's Healthcare in the Age of Obamacare and Hobby Lobby on Thursday, September 18 from 5 - 7 PM at the Stowe Center.

The evening's featured guests are: Natasha Pierre, JD, MSW, Policy and Legislative Director, CT Permanent Commission on the Status of Women and Gretchen Raffa, Director of Public Policy, Advocacy & Strategic Engagement, Planned Parenthood of Southern New England.

As a government affairs professional with more than a decade of public policy and legal experience, Pierre directs PCSW's policy and legislative agenda.

Raffa leads Planned Parenthood's community engagement initiative in the Latina, African American and Black communities and directs Campus Action, which trains college students to be effective advocates for reproductive justice on campus.

The Salon is free and takes place in the Stowe Visitor Center. Following a brief presentation by Salon guests, the audience is invited to join the discussion. Reservations: Info@StoweCenter.org or 860-522-9258, ext. 317.
