Grand Prix New York Racing [GPNY] will host the "Race 4 A Cure" event to benefit The Lustgarten Foundation on February 6 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The "Arrive and Drive" indoor go karting fundraiser will be open to the public and is for children of all ages. In addition to racing, attendees can bowl at GPNY's Spins Bowl lanes, play games in the arcade, and have fun jumping around in a bouncy castle.
The Lustgarten Foundation is the nation's largest nonprofit funder of pancreatic cancer research. Due to Cablevision's support of the Foundation, 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to research aimed at early detection, more effective treatments, and ultimately a cure for the nation's most lethal cancer.
Ann Walsh, events director, The Lustgarten Foundation, said: "We are grateful to Grand Prix New York and the Mount Kisco community for joining us in the race to beat pancreatic cancer. The Lustgarten Foundation is dedicated to raising funds for research because with more research, we will find a cure.”
"Grand Prix New York is a wonderful venue for local charity fundraisers and we're glad to be able to support a cause as important as this one," said Nat Mundy, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Grand Prix New York Racing. "We look forward to a successful event."
