Annual Lewisboro Library Fair is Saturday, September 23

The 57th annual Lewisboro Library Fair will be held rain or shine, on Saturday, September 23 from 10 am to 4 pm at OnatruFarmTownPark. Onatru Farm is located at 99 Elmwood Road in South Salem. The Fair features giant sales of books, “attic treasures” and toys, as well as a silent auction, food, music, vintage cars, an amazing maze, kids’ games and vendors.

The Book and Sporting Equipment Pre-Sale is Thursday, September 21 from 5 to 9 pm. Admission is free for Lewisboro residents; there is a $20 admission fee for non-residents. The Book Pre-Sale continues Friday, September 22 from 9 am to 5 pm, with free admission for all. There will be an After-Sale of book and Attic Treasure bargains on Sunday, September 24 from 10 am to 2 pm.

 The Fair’s Silent Auction offers opportunities to bid on gift baskets, sporting event tickets, gift cards for local businesses and services and much more. The Fair’s car show, or Concours d’Elegance, showcases a wide range of vehicles from show cars to weekend cruisers. To register, contact Dean Travalino at 763-5402 or ssconcours@optimum.net. There’s no entrance fee.  Plaques are awarded to winners in each of ten categories, courtesy of Mercedes-Benz of GoldensBridge.

An array of food is available to please the pickiest of palates as well as homemade baked goods at the Bake Sale Tent. Donations of baked goods are needed, and can be dropped off at the Bake Sale Tent anytime after 10 am on Fair Day. The theme for this year's "Battle of the Bakers" is apple desserts - anything that doesn't have to be refrigerated! Entries should be brought to the Bake Sale Tent by 11:30 am on Fair Day. Judging is at 1:00 pm.
