Come See Brooklyn Rider with Bela Flock at the Caramoor September 19th!

Banjo legend Béla Fleck has completely redefined the limits of his instrument, combining bluegrass, jazz, jam-band, folk and classical music. Brooklyn Rider, the dynamic and wildly inventive string quartet, offers gripping performances that draw rave reviews from classical, world and rock critics. The two join forces for an evening of new works and old favorites. Slipping seamlessly between the diverse worlds of American roots music and classical, these five musicians reveal a rich range of musical possibilities that defy genre stereotyping.

This concert is part of our Fall Festival – a three-day romp that brings American Roots, Jazz, and Classical music together in unique and unexpected ways. The performances are dynamic, adventurous, emotionally compelling – and sure to inspire the culturally curious!  Come for the day and explore the sound art exhibition In the Garden of Sonic Delights, tour the historic Rosen House, stroll the gardens and grounds, dine Al Fresco, AND hear some amazing music!
