Shirley Alston Reeves/ original lead of THE SHIRELLES:
Certified legend, Co founder and original lead singer of one of the most famous female singing group Music history and members of THE ROCK & ROLL HALL OF FAME, Shirley and the SHIRELLES seamlessly bridged doo wop and uptownNew York pop-soul music. The group projected a beguiling mixture of tenderness and innocence that was grounded in R&B as much as pop/rock. The Shirelles became known throughout the world when they placed six singles in the Top Ten, and their songs have become classics while being covered by many artists, even the Beatles.  Even a recent Broadway musical was written about her and her group.
Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow, Mama Said, Tonight’s The Night”, Baby It’s You, This Is Dedicated To The One I Love, Foolish Little Girl, and the 5 million seller, Soldier Boy..

Randy & The RAINBOWS featuring Randy Safuto
The sounds of Randy & The RAINBOWS featuring Randy Safuto started back in 1959 when they sang under the name of the “Dialtones” with a local “Til I Heard From You”.  In 1963 Dom Randy Safuto formed Randy & the Rainbows with his brother Frank and in a few months had a huge hit record, “Denise”, which sold three million copies.  In 1964 they followed up with “Why Do Kids Grow Up”, which sold another million.  Their recordings kept them busy touring for the entire decade.  Over the years they’ve recorded albums of Four Seasons songs, holiday songs and various popular hits.  Now, years later, and they are “…musically sharper than ever…”  They specialize in effective medleys and harmonies, which is why in 1998 the group was inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame.  Denise, Why Do Kids Grow Up,

The Legendary TEENAGERS
It’s safe to say that no vocal group of the fifties represented more of a turning point in pop music than THE LEGENDARY TEENAGERS.  Their music has underscored countless movies and TV commercials and influenced artists from Michael Jackson to Billy Joel in addition to an entire generation of vocal groups.. The nucleus of the group is now and has always been Jimmy Merchant and founder, Herman Santiago.  The group keeps the same key ingredients that turned rock and roll on it’s ear when they started with the exuberance of youthful singer Frankie Lymon:  Dynamic harmonies and dazzling moves.
Why Do Fools Fall In Love, Goody Goody, ABC’s Of Love, I Promise To Remember, I Want You To Be My Girl…

THE ENCOUNTERS:
“…They’re an echo of old Brooklyn comin’ right back atcha. This doo-wop group lives up to the declaration on the first page of its Web site: “The Encounters will bring you back to a street corner in Brooklyn, where the group originated in 1963. 45 years later when you to them you’ll see and hear the guys you saw all New York as a kid, singing in subway stations, in apartment-building hallways, under lampposts, chasing an echo, or snapping their fingers and harmonizing in front of swooning girls….”
