Huge Library Fair Tomorrow at Onatru Farm in South Salem!

Our neighbors in Lewisboro are holding their 54th Annual Library Fair TOMORROW!

The 54th annual Lewisboro Library Fair will be held Saturday, September 20 from 10 am to 4 pm at Onatru Farm (99 Elmwood Road in South Salem). Highlights include the Book Sale, Attic Treasures & Toy sales, Silent Auction, Food, Live Music, Car Show, Kids' Games, Local Crafts and Vendors, Battle of the Bakers, our  amazing Corn Maze and - new this year - the exotic animals of Animal Embassy and rides on the Wells Fargo Stagecoach!

This year's Silent Auction features opportunities to bid on items including: gift certificates, a native plant garden installed by Copia Home and Garden, Giants vs Colts football tickets, gym membership, college interview services, tutoring services, antique Lionel trains, vacation get-a-ways and some exclusive items on loan from CharityGROW- animation cels and autographed movie posters, Muhammad Ali boxing gloves and an Eric Clapton guitar! 

The Fair's car show, or Concours d'Elegance, is sponsored by Lexus of Mount Kisco and showcases a wide range of vehicles from show cars to backyard classics, plus a special section for green technology vehicles.   

The Library Fair Raffle is one of the Fair's biggest moneymakers, and a great way to show support for your Library, while taking a chance on some great prizes - a 55" flat panel LCD HDTV, an iPad Air, an iPad mini, or dinner for two at Le Chateau. Books of five tickets are available at the Trustees Booth for $40 or single tickets for $10 each. Winning raffle tickets will be drawn at the Fair.  

An array of food is available to please the pickiest of palates, with offerings from the Lions Club and the Horse & Hound as well as homemade baked goods at the Bake Sale Tent (Donations of baked goods are needed and can be dropped off at the Bake Sale Tent after 10 am on Fair Day.)

Speaking of baking, the Fair's Battle of the Bakers contest is back with a quest to find the best muffin or brownie in the area. Submit your favorite recipe (no mixes allowed). Please bring your entries to the Bake Sale Tent by noon on Fair Day for judging.  All entries will be sold at the Bake Sale Tent after judging.
