President Obama in Westchester for Labor Day Weekend; Activity at Westchester County Airport Severely Limited

President Obama will be in New Rochelle this afternoon, Friday, August 29, to attend fundraisers for the Democratic National Committee, according to News Channel 7. He will be attending several fundraisers in New Rochelle and Purchase this weekend.

The President and First Lady are also expected to attend several other events, making for a busy Labor Day Weekend. Traffic in Westchester will be held up due to his arrival this afternoon, so residents are advised to plan accordingly.

According to CBS New York, Air Force One will land at the Westchester County Airport on Friday, and the President will use the airport as a kind of base for his travels to meetings. While he's at the airport it will be completely closed, and even when he's not there in-person, private jets using the airport will be severely restricted.
