The Healing Promise of Qigong with Guest Teacher

The Healing Promise of Qigong with Guest Teacher

Date: 9/21/2014From: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Harvard Medical school calls Qigong "Medication in Motion." Join special guest teacher Bill Wrenn for this in-depth journey into the healing art of Qigong.

Learn history, healing benefits, breath work and a healing sequence to support or begin a Qigong practice. Tune into subtle body cues and find ease in transition from wherever you are. We will increase the capacity of our lungs to boost our immune system and overall health, align breath and inner body to move into outer body forms and join together with like minded folks to engage with the world around us.

Health benefits of Qigong include enhanced mental and physical balance, flexibility, concentration, heart health and energy levels and a reduction of stress, blood pressure, anxiety and joint pain. It can be especially beneficial for teens, during times of transition and for those of us with arthritis or chronic discomfort. All abilities and children ages 10 and up are welcome.

Come access new realms of awareness, awaken your inner 'qi', and develop a technique of self-care.
