Harvey Middle School Performs 'The Hobbit'

The Harvey Middle School students delighted a packed house in the Lasdon Theater in The Walker Center for the Arts Wednesday, May 20 with a lively and colorful performance of "The Hobbit."

Under the direction of Harvey's performing arts chair Vincent Alexander, the production took on the magic and wonder of the popular story of Bilbo Baggins and all of his adventures with the likes of Gandalf, Gollum, the Elven Queen and all the dwarfs, trolls, and woodland elves.

The show marked the end of performing arts events for the academic year at the independent coeducational college preparatory school for students in grades six through 12.
