ENLIGHTENED BY LADY LIBERTY WITH THE LEWISBORO SENIORS
With an outstretched arm bearing lighted torch, the iconic Statue of Liberty holds a symbol of hope, endurance and promise for our nation. Join Historian Arthur Gottlieb, LCSW, on Wednesday, September 14, at 1 PM, with the Lewisboro Seniors, South Salem Fire House, 1190 Route 35, South Salem, NY, for a photographic journey of one of America’s most iconic monuments, from the ancient origins of its design to her post on Liberty Island. America’s romance with Lady Liberty started as a gift from France, which has stood tall as millions of immigrants arrived in America and has since become one of the world’s most recognizable landmark.
