The Prospector Theater Creates Powerful Video to Honor World Down Syndrome Day

Tuesday March 21, 2017 is the 12th anniversary of World Down Syndrome Day!

The World Down Syndrome official website says, "Down Syndrome International encourages our friends all over the world to choose your own activities and events to help raise awareness of what Down syndrome is, what it means to have Down syndrome, and how people with Down syndrome play a vital role in our lives and communities."

The Prospector Theater in Ridgefield recognizes World Down Syndrome Day 365 days a year! The founder and visionary of The Prospector Theater Val Jensen said, "I love my friends, family, and coworkers with Down Syndrome! There's a lot of character, heart, goodness, and sparkle on that extra chromosome! (There's an extra copy (3) of the 21st chromosome, which makes March 21 (3/21) World Down Syndrome Day!

"Please like, love, comment, share the The Prospector Ridgefield's Mission and video to help the love, life, and opportunities for people with Down Syndrome throughout the world," says Jensen.
