Raymond Patrick McGinley, Sr.
Raymond Patrick McGinley, Sr., 83, of South Salem, NY, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Greenwich Hospital. He was the loving husband of Mrs. Jane (Westfall) McGinley.
Mr. McGinley was born on March 21, 1934 in Port Chester, NY; a son of the late Hugh and Elizabeth (Scanlon) McGinley.
Mr. McGinley served in the US Navy and later was an auto mechanic in the Westchester County area.
A resident of South Salem for the past 48 years since relocating from Mamaroneck, Mr. McGinley attended St. Patrick's Church of Bedford. He was an avid New York Mets and New York Giants fan and he enjoyed special gatherings with his family.
Mr. McGinley is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jane and their children: Raymond McGinley, Jr., James McGinley and his wife, Sharon, Brian McGinley, Elizabeth Peloso and her husband, George, and Jayne Iannone and her husband, Tony.
He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; Lisa, Edgar, Christina (Dan), Samantha (Frankie) and Victor (Audrey); 2 great grandchildren; Brody and Amara; a nephew, Kevin McGinley (Christine); brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
Friends will be received on Monday, November 20, 2017 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Kane Funeral Home; 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. A prayer service will take place at the conclusion of calling hours.Interment will be private and at the direction of the family.
