Kristen Gizzi has been elected to the Board of Directors of TBICO, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help people help themselves through education, job training, and financial literacy.  The announcement was made by Louann Bloomer, TBICO’s founder, CEO and President.  I’m so pleased to welcome Kristen to the board.  Her experience both professional and nonprofit will be invaluable in helping guide TBICO into the next 25 years.”

Says Gizzi, I am honored and excited to join the Board of Directors of TBICO. I have been impressed by this organization from the first day I learned about it and am thrilled to have a role in its growth and success.

A successful attorney, Gizzi has served as General Counsel for ECCO111 Enterprises, Inc, a New York-based family environmental and infrastructure construction company for the past fifteen years. She is also Director of Real Estate for ECCO Development, a real estate management, and development company, as well as Executive Director of Litchfield Crossings, New Milford Ct.’s largest retail shopping center.

A resident of Katonah, she is passionate about giving back to the community and volunteers at Hope’s Door, a non-profit organization assisting domestic violence victims and is Co-Facilitator at the Phoenix and the Rose, working with middle and high school children to provide skill sets, support and empowerment not taught in traditional academic settings.

Founded in 1993, TBICO offers a free curriculum of business, financial and interpersonal workshops.  In addition, they arrange one-on-one consultations with volunteer HR Executives, conduct mock interviews and have on- premises a job search team and corporate closet.  “Our slogan is better skills, better jobs, better lives, “adds Bloomers.
