Christopher Nelson has been appointed Director of Technology for the Katonah-Lewisboro School District by the Board of Education and will begin in District on February 1. He brings significant experience in the director’s role. In addition, he has been a classroom teacher at the high school level and has worked in the private technology sector.
“Christopher impressed us both with his knowledge of educational technology infrastructure and with his personal approach and commitment to supporting the work of students and teachers,” said Superintendent of Schools Andrew Selesnick.
Nelson is currently the Director of Student Achievement and Instructional Technologies in the Sewanhaka Central School District in Floral Park, NY. Prior to that, he was Director of Instructional Technologies, Libraries and Computer Services in the North Syracuse Central School District.
