The White Plains Performing Arts Center (WPPAC) is proud to announce an exciting Fall/Winter Season. All performances are at the White Plains theatre, located on the third level of City Center off Mamaroneck Avenue and Main Street in downtown White Plains.

Blood Type: Ragu, the critically-acclaimed Off-Broadway hit, stars award-winning writer and performer Frank Ingrasciotta, giving a tour-de-force portrayal of over 20 characters who live, love and laugh, in this wonderfully funny and genuinely moving solo play exploring an immigrant child’s delicate dance between culture and identity. This relatable show delighted audiences Off-Broadway at the Actors’ Playhouse in NYC, then touring Capital Repertory Theatre (Albany, NY), 14th Street Playhouse (Atlanta, GA), Dante Hall Theatre (Atlantic City, NJ), George St. Playhouse (New Brunswick, NJ), Seven Angels Theatre (Waterbury, CT), 2015 Winnipeg Theatre Festival, Shea’s Performing Arts Center produced by Broadway League Vice Chair Albert Nocciolino (Buffalo, NY), and numerous Performing Arts Centers throughout the USA. It also played to sold-out houses at the Belmont Theatre (NYC), where it became the longest running show in the theatre’s ten-year history. Blood Type: RAGU is the recipient of the Westchester Arts Council Arts Award for Outstanding Artist, and two time winner at the United Solo Festival Award for Best Comic Actor and Best Comedic Script (nominated alongside Bette Midler, Hugh Jackman & John Leguizamo).

A musical tribute to the great icons of Jazz, Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald. Featuring Trent Armand Kendall and Natasha Yvette Williams in the title roles. This musical celebration reunites THE ARCHITECT OF JAZZ and THE FIRST LADY OF SONG in heaven for one magical night. These two friends and jazz pioneers rip through 24 of the most enduring standards of all time including: “Cheek to Cheek”, “Love Is Here To Stay”, “Stomping at the Savoy”, “Stardust”, “They All Laughed”, “Skylark”, “What a Wonderful World” and more…
The story is full of love, laughter and redemption as we learn about their parallel lives, the rise to fame and the fight to stay there. The irrepressible Armstrong (also surprisingly comedic) and the spellbinding Fitzgerald (with a voice as smooth as silk) were the biggest stars of their day who recorded three highly acclaimed albums featuring countless chart-topping hits.

Based on a story in The Weekly World News, BAT BOY: THE MUSICAL is a musical comedy/horror show about a half boy/half bat creature who is discovered by a group of teenagers in a cave near Hope Falls, WV and brought in to the sleepy town which both intrigues and shocks the inhabitants who fear for the safety of their families and livestock.
The WPPAC Conservatory Theatre production is performed by actors in 7th – 12th grades.

MOOSELTOE: A New Moosical
Mooseltoe is the charming story about a Moose who wants to fly with Santa's reindeer. Mooseltoe sets out to find the great wise Mooseking for advice, and along the way meets a variety of characters, all of whom teach Mooseltoe valuable life lessons. Meanwhile, there is trouble at the North Pole. Will Mooseltoe be able to save Christmas? Ages 3 and up

Using her unique disco moves and singing talent to inspire the choir, Deloris breathes new life into the church and community but, in doing so, blows her cover. 6 Guitars is a pitch perfect blend of music, comedy and characters. Chase Padgett portrays 6 different guitar playing characters each sharing their own style of music. Blues, Jazz, Rock, Classical, Folk & Country.
During this 90-minute performance, each of the 6 characters play songs from their genre while telling the story of how the fell in love with their music, what they think of other styles of music and what music means to us all. With ample music from multiple genres as well as elements of stand-up comedy and musical improvisation there truly is something for everyone in 6 Guitars.

The sweet, swinging sounds of Frank Sinatra and Liza Minnelli are brought back to the stage by seasoned tribute artists Michael Dutra and Gailyn Addis.
Mr. Dutra has been hailed as one of the finest interpreters of the Sinatra sound in the world. Ms. Addis’ remarkable ability to embody the physical appearances and vocal nuances of Liza Minnelli has won her numerous accolades.
