Lewisboro Land Trust announces next "Kids in the Woods" program

The Lewisboro Land Trust is holding a nature hike for kids and parents on Sunday, Aug 17 at 10:30 AM. The picturesque hike will take place at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation.

Participants will hike up Fox Hill Trail at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation, past the "magic stairs" to the Indian Tepee. Followed by "Meet the Animals of WPRR" at the Nature Museum and an optional pot luck picnic.

Lemonade and Cookies will be provided. Hike is 45 min-1hr. Total program 2 hrs. Toddlers should be in backpacks. Rated moderate due to uneven terrain and some hills. Meet at Trailside Museum on main road (after entrance booth) — there is a small entry fee for cars — or meet at Yellow Monkey Village at 10:00 to carpool.

Led by Bonnie Robins. This is part of Lewisboro Land Trust's "Kids in the Woods" program.
