Earlier this year, in conjunction with local farms and Westchester Tourism, we applied to the NYS Department of Agriculture & Markets to create an official Farm Trail for Westchester. We just learned that the trail, Westchester Grown, has been approved! The work of putting the trail in place does not stop with approval though, road signage, printed brochures, and an online map featuring all participating farms, are in the works.
