Chase the blues away at the Nightclub@Lewisboro Library!
Got the Winter Blues?
Come out to the Nightclub@Lewisboro Library and chase those Blues Away - with some Smooth Jazz and Vocals!
On two special Friday nights this winter, the Lewisboro Library turns into the Nightclub@Lewisboro Library. The stacks roll away, tables and chairs appear, the lights dim and an exciting lineup of musicians take to the stage.
We've got a great evening of jazz scheduled for Friday, January 19 at 8 pm. The special guest is Ben Monder, innovative NYC guitarist, an ECM recording artist and contributor to David Bowie's Grammy-winning album "Blackstar." He'll perform along with Steve Shapiro on vibes, Doug Weiss on bass, and Mark Ferber on drums.
If you love the music of "Old Blue Eyes," you can't miss Echoes of Sinatra on Friday, February 9 at 8 pm. This popular quartet features the voice of Steve Kazlauskas accompanied by members of the Tony T. Orchestra. Since it falls the weekend before Valentine's Day, we'll be posting their playlist online a week or two in advance - for those who want to purchase a song dedicated to their special someone!
Reserved seats for both concerts must be purchased at the Library or online via the Library website's Nightclub Concert buttons. Table seating is $60 per person; general seating is $30 per person. Wine, beer and dessert are included. Doors open at 7:30 pm.
