Lewisboro Library Announces January Library Programs

"Snowy Winter Slime" was a big hit at the Library this week. Our winter programming is in full swing, with upcoming concerts, movies, speakers, tech classes and programs for kids and teens. See below for details and links to registration.

Saturday, January 13, 10:30 am - 1:30 pm
Sophomores & Juniors. Come practice for the February 10th ACT test, plus receive a FREE consultation w/C2 Education to go over your results to help prep for the upcoming formal test. Teens should bring a scientific (non-graphing), calculator. MUST register by January 12.   
 
BROWN BAG MOVIE: "SERVED LIKE A GIRL"
Tuesday, January 16, 1:00 pm
This powerful documentary takes an honest look at the hardships many female veterans face upon returning home. Viewers are invited to bring a lunch or snack. 
 
Tuesday, January 16, 6:00 pm
Book group for teens in grades 6 - 8.
 
Friday, January 19, 1:00 pm
Pre-schoolers. We'll provide a snack and let the kids play with "clean mud," a combination of baking soda and water -- unbeatable fun!
Friday, January 19, 8:00 pm, doors open at 7:30
 
Got the Winter Blues? Warm up with some smooth jazz at the Lewisboro Library! This exciting concert featuresspecial guest BEN MONDER, an innovative NYC guitarist, ECM recording artist and contributor to David Bowie's Grammy-winning final album "Blackstar." (Ben's work on that album can be seen in the new HBO documentary "David Bowie: The Last Five Years.") 
 
Performing with Ben that evening will be STEVE
SHAPIRO on vibes, DOUG WEISS on bass, and MARK FERBER on drums. Reserved seats may be purchased at the Library or online HERE.
 
Table seating is $60 per person, general seating is $30 per person. Wine, beer and dessert are included. Proceeds benefit the Lewisboro Library operating fund.
