We have TWO opportunities for you to check out our Pet First Aid events next week! First, on Wednesday, February 25 our next “Mini-Class” will take place at the Fairfield Choice Pet Supply (1947 Black Rock Turnpike) starting at 7:00pm. These special in-store events offer a chance for you to get some great information on first aid for your pets at home, as well as see and participate in hands on demonstrations. Anyone dropping by will have the chance to get some great handouts and information. There’s no cost to attend, but donations are welcome.
On Saturday, February 28, at 2pm we will be hosting a Pet First Aid Class with A Hand For A Paw in Bridgeport (143 Bennett Street). This will be a full first aid class providing knowledge as well as hands on aspects. We will cover emergency first aid for a wide range of issues, and will focus on dogs, cats, birds, and small animals. Participants will receive a packet of materials, be invited to take part in several interactive demonstrations, and much more. The cost for the class is $10.00 per person + a donation item for the AHFAP Pet Pantry.
