Discover the Lost Art of Letter Writing with Nina Sankovitch at Fairfield University Bookstore on Oct. 16

Local author Nina Sankovitch will visit the Fairfield University Bookstore on Thursday, Oct. 16 to discuss her new book, “Signed, Sealed, Delivered: Celebrating the Joys of Letter Writing.” Joining Sankovitch for the conversation will be CT Post entertainment writer Joe Meyers.

The event begins at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public. RSVPs are not required but can be made by emailing FairfieldUBookstoreEvents@gmail.com.

“Kirkus Reviews” hails the book as ““a sweet-natured, well-written affirmation of the time-honored role of letters as a uniquely personal way to communicate.”

Sankovitch is also the author of “Tolstoy and the Purple Chair: My Year of Magical Reading,” selected by Oprah as a “book to read now” and called “an outstanding debut” by “Kirkus Reviews,” and a contributing writer for the "Huffington Post."

Fairfield University Bookstore is located at 1499 Post Rd. in Fairfield. For more information, phone (203) 255-7756, or visit the bookstore website.
