Milford Elks #1589 invites the public to the lodge at 124 New Haven Ave. on Nov. 8, 4 to 10 p.m., to Salute the Veterans. The event features a free concert featuring the Vybrations and The Navels. The concert is indoors with both food tents and a beer tent in the parking lot. This is the best place to watch the fireworks at the harbor at 7 p.m. Bring you family, bring your friends. This event is free, but we will be collecting donations throughout the evening for Milford Veterans.
Remember, Milford Elks give back to the community in many ways. We help support the Connecticut Children’s Hospital, veterans, Little League, soccer, Girl and Boy Scouts, Red Cross, High School scholarships and proms, Christmas baskets to the less fortunate, and holiday dinner for those in need.
