This is Principal Fran Thompson from Jonathan Law High School.
This Saturday, April 25th marks the one year anniversary of our school’s darkest day; the tragic loss of Maren Sanchez, a beloved Jonathan Law student and member of the community.
Maren’s gentle spirit and incredible love of humanity lives on and I would like to invite all to join us this Saturday, April 25th at our school for our “Peace, Love and Music from Maren event”. The day begins with a 5K Fun Run at 9am, followed by an all day long event including live music, food trucks, bounce houses for the kids, kids crafts and activities and kickball tournament. All proceeds from the event will go to the Maren Sanchez scholarship fund.
Additional parking will be off site at Silver Sands State Park and Pumpkin Delight School with continuous shuttle service provided throughout the day.
