Children's Programs for One City, One Story at B&N

Young children are invited on Friday, May 1 at 7 pm for activities to celebrate Milford's One City, One Story book, The Invisible Boy, at Barnes & Noble, 1375 Boston Post Road, Milford. 

Maisie, the popular character children's book character, will visit B&N's One Hundred Acre Woods in the children's books' department at 7 pm. Take a photo with Maisie!

At 7:15 pm we will read The Invisible Boy. 

Sandi Schuchmann, founder of Turn it Up Music and Movement program, will get everyone moving and dancing at 7:30 pm. Everyone is invited to participate! 

Festivities continue on Saturday, May 2 at noon with a children's poetry workshop led by Dr. Joel Feimer, a retired Mercy College English professor, author and editor. Children ages seven to eleven are invited to work on their writing with Dr. Feimer, bring a poem in and read poems aloud together. No registration is required.
