STEVE MARTIN is a beloved national treasure and one of the most diversified performers and brilliant artists of his generation. Actor, comedian, author, playwright, screenwriter, producer and musician, Steve is the recipient of an Emmy, four Grammy Awards, a Kennedy Center Honor and an Honorary Oscar, to name just a few. We are thrilled to welcome him to Long Wharf, where you may have recently seen two of his plays — The Underpants and Picasso at the Lapin Agile.
ADAM GOPNIK has been writing essays, commentary, and criticism on a vast range of topics for The New Yorker since 1986, and his work for the magazine has won both the National Magazine Award for Essay and the George Polk Award for Magazine Reporting. He is currently collaborating with composer David Shire on a new musical, Table.
