Two Roads Brewing Company Nor'Yeaster Bottle Release Returns

Nor'Yeaster Bottle Release is BACK at
Two Roads

Three beers are storming out of Stratford on May 7.

Three rare beers, including a brand new sour, will be for sale during our Third Annual Nor’Yeaster beer release on Saturday, May 7. This annual springtime beer release will be held at our brewery at 1700 Stratford Avenue in Stratford, CT.

Beer lovers who attend will be able to purchase up to two bottles of each style for a total of six bottles on a first-come, first-serve basis. Sales start at noon with doors opening at 10 a.m. 600 bottles of each will be available at $10 apiece.

If last year’s event was any indication, we don't expect this year’s crop of beers to last long; we are recommending arriving early if you’d like to get your hands on these releases which include:

Henry's Farm Double Bock aged in rye whiskey barrels; a barrel-aged favorite returning for its third springtime release in 22 oz bottles. This classic doppelbock style beer is barrel aged which adds a bold whiskey flavor along with subtle oak character.

For the second beer, we took our Road 2 Ruin Double IPA wort and fermented it with a Trappist Belgian yeast strain. We then put it into secondary fermentation with Brett for a style we are describing as “Franco-Belgian Wild IPA.” The result is “Road 2 Rouen,” named for the capital of Normandy, in Northern France.

Our last beer is the newest in our Lambic Style series: Framboise Noir. Made with fragrant black raspberries and aged in wine barrels for 20 months, the beer pours a lovely crimson color with unique aromatics derived from the black raspberries.

During the Nor'Yeaster event, all three of these beers will be available on tap in our tasting room while supplies last. The brewery will also be hosting two local food trucks selling delicious meals/snacks.

Nor'Yeaster Beer Dinner May 2nd

To get a sneak peek of these three beers we are hosting a 5-course “Reimagined Junk Food” beer dinner at the brewery on May 2nd. Details can be found on this website: https://tickets.beerfests.com/event/noryeaster-preview-beer-dinner
