Solitary Odyssey of a Female Kind at Milford Public Library on November 9

What makes a young girl, at 17, enlist in the military?  Author Isabella Green did just that. Her service left her with PTSD, and her “cure” was to backpack around the world, visiting different cultures.

Along with selling and signing her book, Solitary Odyssey of a Female Kind, the author will give readings, talk about her experiences and share her story at Milford Public Library on Wednesday, November 9 at 7pm.   She has a photo montage of some of the most interesting and beautiful sights on her voyage through 12 countries.

This book gives insight into war and its aftermaths.   It focuses on transformation that comes from traveling within many different cultures and religions, during a quest for healing and pilgrimage, to retrieve a spirit stolen by the ravages of war.

Veterans, world travelers, and those interested in current events will find this presentation very meaningful.

All are welcome to this free event.

Milford Public Library is located at 57 New Haven Ave, visit them online here.
