Sydney Patchen is a collector, and something of an expert when it comes to Depression glass. Former owner of Antique Treasures, a multi-dealer shop in West Haven, CT, Mrs. Patchen sells Early American Pattern Glass, Art Glass, and Brilliant Period Glass via the internet.
Patchen will be at Milford Public Library on Saturday, November 12 at 2 pm, and the public is invited to bring two pieces of glassware – she will examine them and give an honest opinion of its manufacture and its approximate worth. This is not a formal appraisal, but an opinion by someone with knowledge in the field.
Based on “Antiques Road Show,” this afternoon event promises to be fun and educational. Who knows? You just might have a treasure! The event will be held in the Program Room of the Milford Public Library at 57 New Haven Avenue. All are welcome to attend this free event.
