Take the Stage for Young Adults at Milford Public Library

In this theatre workshop, teens will have the wonderful opportunity to try their hands at some theatre games, improvisations and acting exercises.

Everyone will participate in this exciting exploration without feeling put on the spot. The workshop will begin with some fun and inviting warm-up games that gradually build their way to more challenging and creative improvisations.

This free activity is for students entering grades 6 through 12 and will be held on Saturday, July 15 at 2:00pm at Milford Public Library, 57 New Haven Ave in Milford. Call the library reference desk at 203-783-3292 to sign up.

The library is glad to welcome back Ingrid Schaeffer to conduct this event as part of the Young Adult Department’s summer reading program, “Build a Better World”. Schaeffer is the Director of Creative Dramatics and Chair of the Theatre Department at ACES Educational Center for the Arts.
