Classical Indian Music Celebration at Milford Public Library on September 10

Milford Library is celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the Indian subcontinent with songs of Rabindranath Tagore and Hindustani classical music on Sunday, September 10 at 2:30pm. The group Shaptak was started in 2016, and features harmonium, cymbals and tabla to accompany vocals. Professor Nitis Mukhopadhyay will begin the program with an introduction to the music and culture of India.
