How to Help A Loved OneThrough Divorce (and Stay a Loved One!)

Fairfield Connecticut divorce attorney and mediator Larry Sarezky has won a 2017 National Indie Excellence Award for his family law how-to book, Divorce, Simply Stated. Sarezky will be presenting a program at Milford Library (Thursday, November 9 at 7pm) for both divorcing spouses and what he calls “divorce first responders”: grandparents, friends, siblings, clergy – anyone who may be helping a couple separate in a fair and efficient manner.

“Divorce, Simply Stated” includes rarely discussed tips from a veteran divorce insider on maximizing results while minimizing expense, worry and acrimony. In addition to the divorce essentials, the book also contains stress-reducing humor and a holistic approach to help readers cope, organize, relax, and even sleep better during separation and divorce.

Sarezky’s other efforts to ease the burdens of divorce include his nationally acclaimed TellyAward-winning custody film, “Talk To Strangers.”The 25-minute dramatic film is in use throughout the U.S. and abroad to dissuade parents from pursuing unnecessary custody and other child-related litigation. The film will be shown as part of the presentation.

A past Chair of the Connecticut Bar Association’s Family Law Section, Larry Sarezky has represented clients from the ranks of Fortune 500 CEOs, MLB Hall of Famers, and Oscar, Grammy and Emmy winners. In recent years, Larry has

focussed on easing the burden of divorcing spouses and their children.

All are welcome to the November 9 program. Copies of “Divorce, Simply Stated” will be available for sale for $19.55. Cash or check is accepted.
