Good afternoon. This is Ben Blake, Mayor of the City of Milford.
As the City readies for yet another round of wintery weather, a snow emergency has been declared. Off-street parking should be utilized whenever possible and in areas where it is necessary to park in the road, Alternate Side of the Street Parking will be in effect beginning at 8:00PM tonight.
With a forecast of snow turning to heavy sleet and rain tomorrow, there is a risk of inland flooding. In preparation of this potential flooding, residents are asked to clear the snow and ice from those catch basins and storm drains adjacent to their property.
