Want to Know What Women Over 60 Talk About?

Do you ever wonder what women over 60 talk about?

Come to the Westport Library and hear a collection of funny, enlightening, and inspiring stories by women who have reached their 60th birthday (and beyond), when Sherri Daley and contributors read from, discuss and celebrate their book, What We Talk About When We're Over 60, on Tuesday, September 9, at 7 pm in the Westport Library's McManus Room. Books will be available for purchase and signing at the program, which is free and open to the public.

Speakers will include:

Sherri Daley is a public schoolteacher and freelance writer, who says she would like to retire but feels she "must first hunt down the creators of the Common Core curriculum." She says she occasionally keeps up her blog, which amuses her followers.

Leslie Beatus is a retired art teacher, who has an eBay business selling high-end and designer accessories and clothing. She says she is devoted to reading, Pilates and chocolate.

Suzanne Sheridan has been married to her partner, Rozanne Gates, a former agent for many celebrities, since 2005.

Ingrid Bloom is a retired schoolteacher, whose exercise regimen includes yoga, walking, swimming and jazzercise. Since she believes staying fit is not limited to physical fitness, she continues to go to college and the opera.

Suzanne Golub is a 2nd-degree Reiki practitioner, an avid reader and serious gardener. She works in a university administrative office and is a life-long vegetarian, gourmet cook and baker.
