The Devon Rotary Club is excited to announce the 2014 Roster Line-Up for the Milford Hoopsters. Come out and cheer on your favorites Saturday, November 8 at Jonathan Law. Local Celebrities playing on the Milford side include: The Honorable Mayor Ben Blake of Milford and Adam Rivers a DJ from local radio station KC101. Local educational leaders on the team include Dr. Elizabeth Feser, Superintendent of Milford School System, Amy Fedigan, Principal of Calf Pen Meadows, and Vince Scarpetti, Principal of West Shore Middle School. Rounding out the roster are local Milford teachers, members of the Milford Police Department, and other local business leaders. The Devon Rotary Club announces the Mighty Milford Hoopsters versus the Harlem Wizards proudly sponsored by Milford Bank
The Harlem Wizards event will be held this year on Saturday, November 8th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Jonathan Law High School, 20 Lansdale Ave, Milford, CT 06460 in the main gymnasium. This popular annual event is a fundraiser for the Devon Rotary Club. Proceeds directly benefit our organizations' charitable trust foundation that distributes over $25,000 in annual scholarships to local Milford students.
Come join us for a fun-filled night of Tricks, Hoops & Alley-Oops! Watch Mayor Ben Blake and your favorite local celebrities including principals and teachers from the Milford School System as they work hard to help the Devon Rotary raise money for scholarships! This family friendly event has been entertaining Milford’s youth for many years now.
Other ticket options include Reserved Seating (front row Center Court) for $20, Courtside Tickets for $25 which includes a 1-on-1 meeting with The Wizards 1 hour prior to the game. The first 100 tickets sold will be entered into a drawing to win Courtside Tickets and there will also be a drawing for parents to play in the game ($1 for each entry).
Refreshment and Souvenirs will be sold at the game and there will be a free autograph session with the wizards immediately following the game.
