The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Southern New Haven County beginning at 12 a.m. Saturday, January 24, and extending through the day, finally ending at 6 p.m. This advisory calls for snow, sleet and freezing rain with accumulations of 3 to 5 inches of snow and ice possible. Please be aware that hazardous conditions are possible and residents should proceed with caution when leaving home.
