Friends of Milford Teen Diagnosed with Cancer Create Go Fund Me Page to Help in the Battle

One week ago a Go Fund Me page was created for Milford resident Sean Cleary, who has been diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a type of cancer that is found in the bone or soft tissue. Cleary will have to undergo months of treatment, all of which come at a high cost.

"Sean's Friends," as stated on the Go Fund Me page, created the account to help support Cleary and his family. In one week the Milford community has rallied behind the young teen, raising over $7,000 of a goal of $10,000. Cleary's friends wrote this on the fundraiser's page:

Sean is a 14 yo boy in our Miford community recently diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma. He will be facing 8-12 months of primarily inpatient chemotherapy and surgeries to remove the tumor with treatment at YNHH. Sean is a handsome, active teenager who participates in football, CrossFit of Milford and was looking forward to starting his freshman year at Foran High School. This fundraiser was created to offset cost of medical treatment, supplies and insurance/hospital bills. Most importantly, positive thoughts and prayers for Sean and his mother Trish through this journey. Any donation will help and are greatly appreciated!!!
