Professional Personal Watercraft(Jet Ski) racers and freestylers will begin arriving in Milford CT on July 22nd for a weekend of racing July 23rd and 24th!
East Coast Watercross has chosen Walnut Beach, in Milford CT as the host of its 2016 Rounds 3 & 4 Race & Freestyle Series!
Pro and Amatuer athletes will be competing on 300+ horsepower personal watercraft capable of reaching speeds of 85+ mph right in front of the Walnut Beach Boardwalk! There will be closed course competitions throughout the day where racers battle on a closed bouy course. There will be over 13 classes of racing, which will include 2 motos each day Saturday and Sunday!
Spectators can expect a full day of action with classes of racing running from 11am-6pm(rain or shine). Practice starts at 10am(tide dependant) so make sure to arrive early to get a good spot.THIS IS A FREE EVENT for spectators! Families welcome, watercraft racing is very similar to motocross racing, with plenty of action for people of all ages. The racers will be available all day to ask questions and take some photos! There will even be a 2016 SeaDoo Spark 3-up jet ski being raffled off!
