Milford K9 Team Among those Graduating from the 180th Patrol

180th Patrol K9 Training Troop Set to Graduate

 

The Connecticut State Police Canine Training Unit announces the graduation ceremony of the 180th Patrol Canine Training Troop. 

The canine teams are all trained to work patrol and have been trained in the basic areas of tracking, handler protection, evidence recovery, building searches, obedience, and classroom education.  For the canines, all German Shepherds, the graduation marks the culmination of a 14-week rigorous and intense training course.

Graduating K9 teams are from the Department of Corrections, Bridgeport Police Department, Milford Police Department, Hartford Police Department, and Torrington Police Department.

The graduation will be held at the Connecticut Police Academy in the auditorium, 285 Preston Ave. Meriden, CT. on June 30, 2016 at 10:00 a.m.
