We are fast approaching our third year of the ican Shine Bike Program. The first two years have been so successful because we had great volunteers! This year we are looking for more volunteers to continue the program’s success rate.
This is a great way for high school students to get their community service hours. Last year we had volunteers associated with several sports teams in the area, Foran Basketball & Swimming, Notre Dame Football, Jonathan Law High School, Amity High School and Southern Connecticut State University.
The program is broken down into five 75 minute sessions from August 15, 2016 to August 19, 2016. We are only asking you to volunteer for one of the five sessions for the week. Most of the volunteers last year did two sessions back to back. The opportunity to work with the children in the program will be so rewarding you will never forget the experience.
