Milford Prevention Council Announces August Hero of the Month

Sharon Kish is an exceptional candidate for the Hero of the month. She is a Special Ed Para at Jonathan Law. Sharon is a truly kind and dedicated person who demonstrates her compassion towards others in everything that she embodies.

Everything Sharon takes on is to benefit someone else.  She never thinks of herself or what it would take to get something done.  She just does it and with a big smile on her face.  Even if she is feeling down, you can never tell because she is there everyday doing what she does best, giving her heart and soul not only to the kids that she works with but also her fellow colleagues. Sharon Kish is everyone's cheerleader, always encouraging and giving hope to everyone that she touches.

She also keeps busy in the evenings with a program through Adult Education for adults with special needs. After school she keeps herself busy helping with Unified Sports and Unified Arts.  She is happiest when she is giving and doing for others.  She is what a Hero looks and acts like.  Always there to do anything for anyone, no matter what or when.
